Adventures in the Kitchen: Melted Snowman Granola Bars

Well, we do not have any snow in my neck of the woods yet, but today I am making a snowman! Well, in the end he will be a melted snowman.

Here is what you will need:
1/2 c. Mini Marshmallows
1/4 c. craisins
1/4 c. chocolate chips
1/4 c. dried apricots
1/4 c. almonds
2 c. old fashioned oats
1 - 8oz can of sweetened condensed milk
1 package white almond bark candy
**You do not HAVE to make a snowman picture, it's just fun!**
Step 1: Mix all dry ingredients together.
*Tip: While measuring and mixing dry ingredients, place the un-opened can of sweetened condensed milk into a bowl of hot water. This will make mixing much easier!
Step 2: Dry off and open can of sweetened condensed milk. Mix well with dry ingredients.
Step 3: Line a small baking pan with parchment paper and press snowman mixture loosely into bottom of pan.
Step 4: Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
Step 5: After 30 minutes, remove bars and parchment paper from pan and set on cutting board to cool.
Step 6: Once bars have cooled for approximately 15 minutes, use pizza cutter or sharp knife to cut into bars.
Step 7: While the bars cool all the way, melt 5 or 6 cubes of the white almond bark candy. I melted mine in the microwave. Follow melting directions on package.
Step 8: Coat one side of the granola bar by dipping it in the melted white bark candy and place on wax paper to cool. This is the "puddle of melted snow" on the bottom of your snowman body parts. You can use some of the extra to drizzle on the top as well.
And there you have it...
(Can you see the different snowman body parts?)
