Adventures in Fashion: I Got Bangs!!

So, yesterday I got my hair cut and like the title of the post says, I got some bangs...

Yep, I've been thinking about it for a while, and yesterday decided to just go for it. I haven't had bangs since I was in Kindergarden...and so far I am really liking them! But now I have to learn how to make them look this good on my own. I wish I could get it blow dried and styled at the salon every day! Does anyone else have that problem? Your hair cut looks so much better after the stylist cuts it than it does the next day when you try to style it yourself??

Any tips about bangs for me? 

Adventures in Fashion: Beige Patent Pumps

We have a few dressy events coming up this spring and I have been looking around for a dress that would work for all of them and I found one the other day!

Now my mission is to find a pair of shoes to go with the dress.

I could wear white sandals, but the first even is a family wedding this weekend and it is still a little cool for the white strappy sandals that I already have. 

Plus, I have been really wanting a pair of beige patent pumps...

Do you have a different suggestion for shoes that would go with the dress?

I think my favorite is the first one, but I have not gotten to try any of them on yet...just on line looking. I like the peep toe, but would not be able to wear them in winter because snow would get in the peep!

Adventures in Fashion: Am I the Last to Know?!

Ok, sometimes I am a little behind on the times...like, Pinterest for example. I had been hearing about it for a while, but didn't really know what it was. (Now, I LOVE Pinterest!) And I have to be honest folks, I still don't quite understand the point of twitter. I don't think I ever will. Well, I just discovered (via Mother Crafter's blog post) this little program called Polyvore. Am I the last one to hear of this? It is a fun site where you can create cute outfit collages like this:
