Adventures in Products: Sally Hanson Salon Effects

Remember when I told you about Influenster
If you don't, you can go {here} to read about it!
The first product that I used in my VoxBox was
Sally Hansen Salon Effects nail polish strips.
This cute little kit comes in a box with easy to follow directions, nail file, and polish strips.

You get a variety of sizes and the directions say to match up which size works best with each of your nails before you begin (smart idea!)

Then just peel, stick, stretch a little

And use the file to remove the excess polish strip.
Taa-Daa!
I will start with the
 Pros:
1) Easy to follow directions.
2) SUPER LONG lasting!
(Like over a week even with doing dishes and other cleaning.)
3) You don't have to sit around waiting for your nails to dry. (SO nice!)

Cons:
1) Still smells like nail polish...I was hoping it wouldn't, but it did.
2) Can be a bit tricky lining up the edge of the polish
(especially when using my left hand to apply the strips to my right hand).
3) Zebra stripes - not the biggest fan - however these do come in LOTS of colors.

Over all: I would purchase these if they were on sale and if I found a color I liked.

I did receive this product free of charge,
but the review written above is my honest opinion of the product.

  1. Such an interesting idea - I'd definitely try that out! (And I'm totally tacky enough to love the zebra pattern!)
