To kick off Labor Day weekend, here are some of my favorite things that happened in August:
~ Peach picking at Spring Hope Farm with my man
~ Winning an awesome give away by Stacy at Make-Up Obsessed Mom (more about that coming soon!)
~ Discovering a new, amazing, yummy brand of gluten free bread! It's called Local Oven and I just can't say enough good things about their products.
Hamburger buns, baguettes, pita pockets, hot dog buns, bread crumbs...all gluten free! And so yummy!
~ MasterChef ~ Are you watching this show? Because you totally should! Fox, Wednesday nights. It's down to the final 4...I'm still not sure who I want to win this season. Maybe Jessie...
~ Learning from the great Pioneer Woman how s'mores should really be made...
As much fun as August was, I am TOTALLY ready for September and fall.
I LOVE FALL!
Peanut butter cup s'mores...interesting. Congratulations on winning a giveaway. Winning is always exciting!
ReplyDeleteWe are OBSESSED with Master Chef! Love every season and are totally going for Jessie (she is from an hour north of us) and Luca. He is just the cutest thing. I could pinch his cheeks and he seemed to be on fire last night! I am pulling for Jessie more as it would be kinda neat if she decided to open a restaurant around here when she finishes the show!

Everyone is raving about the Pioneer Woman and her cooking show. I must really be out of the loop, Reeses Smore's are you serious? Those look divine! Yummy. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeletePeaches! We grilled peaches with salmon for the first time last week and they were fantastic. Just slice them, spray a little olive oil on them, and lay them right on the grill. Yummmm.
ReplyDelete^^^And I'm loving Pioneer Woman's show!
Those s'mores look amazing. And I'm beyond ready for fall too!
ReplyDeleteYay for winning a giveaway! That's awesome...I feel like I never win any. Those peaches look delish...have you made anything yummy with them?
ReplyDeleteI've been hearing a lot about peanut butter smores. Apparently they are awesome on ritz crackers? Totally need to try it.
ReplyDeleteOh, I would love those smores! Anything peanut butter and chocolate is the BEST!
ReplyDeleteI haven't ever watch Master Chef but looks interesting and I do enjoy the cooking competitions.
Enjoyed your August favorites and wishing you a wonderful September as we welcome fall.
