Happy Labor Day Weekend!

This week's questions are all about the end of summer!  

1. What was your favorite trip/vacation/activity this summer? Since we have been working on the basement for the whole summer, we have really only taken one trip...well, 2 if you count going to Minnesota for my grandmothers funeral. Our other trip was to West Virginia for a family reunion and we had a very nice time! It was fun meeting new family members and visiting Daniel's Great-grandmother. West Virginia is really pretty! I am going to go with that as my favorite trip.

2. What was your favorite outfit look of the summer/clothing item?

I have been wearing my white shorts as much as possible (I love them!) While I don't actually own any of these items in the picture above, they are all very much my style. Especially the Chacos - do you know about these amazing sandals?! I have 2 pairs and I love them! Also that bracelet is Studio Petra. I have a necklace that matches this and I love it. All of their pieces are magnetic so you don't have the fumble with the little clasps. 

3. What is one thing you wish you had gotten to do this summer?
I really wish I had gotten to go fruit picking. Last summer we picked blueberries, strawberries, and peaches (not at the same time of course). But this summer, because of the strange weather and hardly any rain, the fruit crops in this area were very poor. Plus we spend all of our extra time in the basement.

4. What was your favorite song of the summer?
Hmmmm, this is a hard one. Every time I have a new favorite, the radio stations all start to play it to death! I would say that my favorite "summer song" is Jake Owen's Barefoot Blue Jean Night

5. What was your favorite movie/tv show of the summer?

TV show - MasterChef

Raise your hand if you are totally inspired by Christine!?! If you don't watch the show, Christine is an amazing chef who is making great dishes in crazy circumstances, just like the other contestants on the show, except she is BLIND! Yup. She cooks totally by her sense of taste. And she is AMAZING!

Is it totally pathetic that I can't even remember the last time I went to the theater to see a movie?
