Yep, those are giant holes in the floor.
We are lowering the floor of the basement 2 feet
so the finished ceiling height will be about 8 feet.
3) I sing on the worship team at our church.
4) I was a competitive swimmer from age 5 - 22
5) I have never (not even once) colored my hair. Before it was because of swimming - chlorine every day + color treated hair = bad news! But now, I just like my natural color and highlights. I never get tired of it!
6) I tell people I am allergic to coconut. But I'm not, I just really hate coconut. It anything.
7) My favorite TV show right now is MasterChef (have you seen it?!)
8) Words of encouragement is one of my love languages!

That is hilarious that you tell ppl you are allergic to coconut! And you were a competitive swimmer? That's awesome! Stopping by from the link up!
ReplyDeleteaahh - we'd be best buddies... I also sang in our worship team in church & encouragement is my Spiritual Gift :)
ReplyDeleteBut we may have problems when it comes to coconut :) mmm... love it...
The picture of the revamp in your basement made me break out in a small panic attack. I didnt even know you COULD lower a floor!!!!
omg i love this- seriously cracked up haha. im not a huge fan of coconut either ;) stopping by the link up and had to say hi! xo
ReplyDeleteI didn't color my hair until after my 2nd child was born, now I perfer the highlights as well. Good luck with the basement, seems like a lot of work.
ReplyDeleteNice to meet you! It seems I am your exact opposite on #6, though--I love ANYTHING coconut :) And hey, no biggie that you're a Minnesota fan. At least you didn't say M*ch*gan! :)
ReplyDeleteWow, finishing a basement is a major project! I was on a swim team in elementary school and watching the olympics made me want to try out just making it 200 yds without stopping. Not sure I could even do butterfly, but it'd be pretty funny to watch, for sure!
ReplyDeleteI love Masterchef too!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by :)
That's hysterical you tell people you're allegorical to coconut
ReplyDeleteI bet all the Bears fans must make you angry being in IL! My boss is a Packers fan and everyone at work makes fun of her since most of us grew up in the Chicago area.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the basement. It's a long & hard project! We're working on ours too...never-ending!
Yay! I'm glad you joined up with Blog Star this week. It's great way to make new bloggy friends.
ReplyDeleteI should tell restaurants that I'm allergic to cilantro; then maybe they'd quit telling me there's none in a dish and then guess what shows up?
Have a great day!
