Adventures in Blogging : Wednesday Hodgepodge

No projects today - just a hodgepodge of questions and answers to let you know a little more about me! You can play along too - every Tuesday Joyce posts some questions, you answer and then link up on Wednesday. Here we go...
1. How many students were in your high school graduating class? Did you know most, if not all of them?
I believe there were 211 students in my graduating class...but I can't quite remember. That is mall enough that I knew most of everyone's names from years of being in classes together.
2. What was the last thing you photographed?
Some bright green asparagus! YUM!

3. Pickles-love 'em or loathe 'em? If its love what's something you eat that needs a pickle?
LOVE dill pickles! Loathe sweet pickles. I can eat dill pickles at any time - I especially love to have them with a burger and fries!
4. What's a stereotype you seem to perpetuate without meaning to?
Women love to talk on the phone...It's true! I do.
5. Ever been horse back riding? If so is it something you enjoy? If not, do you have any interest? Did you watch the Kentucky Derby? Will you be watching the last leg of the Triple Crown this weekend?
My grandpa had horses and so did my neighbors growing up. So I have ridden quite a bit. I love being around horses, they are just so beautiful and graceful. I don't really watch horse races, mostly because they make me so nervous. Not nervous about who will win, nervous that one of the horses will trip or get hurt...I can't watch movies about horses either. They make me cry like a baby!
6. What's your favorite 'wedding' movie?
This is a HARD one...My Big Fat Greek Wedding. No, wait, Father of the Bride! No, no, no...Sweet Home Alabama! Yep, that one. Sweet Home Alabama.

7. What is one 'tourist attraction' in the USA that you'd like to see in person?
YELLOWSTONE! I have been wanting to go there for years...

  2. Sweet Home Alabama is another one of my favorites...so hard to choose! We go to a local horse race which in part supports a local charity. A friend who grew up in the area has gone every year since she was a kid and said one year they had to put down a horse at the race. Shudder. I pray that never happens when I'm there! I do love the movie Secretariat!

  3. Love the aspargus photo. I'm really loving the crops this year. Oh my, another favorite movie of mine. Really enjoy Sweet Home Alabama! Yellowstone is amazing. We did so many parks back about 40 years ago. I think it's time to revisit all of them!
