I have the best mom!
Over the years she has put up with a lot from me.
It all started about 28 years ago when, no matter how hard she pushed,
I just didn't want to come out!
I just didn't want to come out!
Once I was born, she took care of me around the clock.
Feeding me, changing me, and most importantly loving me.
Then I moved on to pestering my little brother
and making a mess playing in the tupperware cabinet.
and making a mess playing in the tupperware cabinet.
And she taught me how to play well with others and my organizational skills.
When I was in middle school and wanted to give up on things,
she taught me to follow through on my commitments
(even when I really didn't want to!)
(even when I really didn't want to!)
Like every young adult, I had to learn to deal with disappointments,
and every time my mom was there to listen, give advice,
and remind me that God had a plan.
and remind me that God had a plan.
Every time I needed to talk in college, she would make time for my phone calls.
I have been given a wonderful example of what a Godly mother looks like, and I pray that one day I will be able to follow her example with my own children.
