Christmas 2011 Adventure (part 2)

This past weekend was again filled with fun, family, and fellowship as we celebrated Christmas with Daniel's family. His Grandparents came all the way from South Carolina to celebrate with all of us, which made our time together as a family very special!

New Year's Day we had a wonderful dinner with all 21 people in the extended family, complete with a family picture

We brought our new Connex for the Xbox up with us for the kids to use...and well, the adults had more fun with it than the kids! We only have the sports game so far, but golf, tennis, and darts kept the laughs going most of the night.

We stayed the night and on Monday morning had a yummy waffle breakfast and more present opening! One of my love languages is giving gifts, so I LOVE watching people open their gifts - especially the little kids. The biggest hit for the kids seemed to be the coloring books we got for them (at the Dollar Store!!!)

I got a beautiful scarf and some new serving dishes (yay!!!) and Daniel got a pair of Crocks and the best & biggest cutting board you will ever see! Our brother-in-law Josh MADE IT!!! It is extra large for all the meat that Daniel makes in his meat smoker.

We are so truly blessed to have such great families on both sides.
